Description
This is an adaptation of the...(more) famous Melodie of Gluck. It is commonly played at weddings following Gluck's Andante.
Although it is usually played by a flute, this violin arrangement is fingered for violin and unlike the Fritz Kreisler version, borrows
for August Wilhelmj's version which is played in a lower octive on the G string. A very beautiful piece from the 1700s.
